Nahanni is a dark grey sable with a smooth coat that is on the longer side and very thick. She has a medium soft temperament and is particularly intelligent.

She loves to please and responds immediately, also understanding all manner of words to the astonishment of her people, given her youth. She responds immediately to commands given at a distance, the only reward wanted being a warm hug and word of praise.

She is very interested in people but not as extroverted as her husband Nisga'a. She has learned that she should not bark and that she should make friends, which she is learning to do with quiet gentleness.

She is very protective, and yet already understands when protectiveness is required or not. She loves to run, put her husband in his place and take his sticks. She loves to tease by climbing onto the chairs, watching for the response, then leaping off with ear to ear grin.

She is above all, brave and strong and loving and loyal.
